# Yield Farms

Yield farming refers to the practice of earning rewards or interest by depositing cryptocurrency into a pool with other users. ko.one, for instance, has farms that encourage users to provide liquidity for their preferred token pairs. When users create and stake their liquidity provider tokens in these farms, they receive trading fees and $KO utility tokens.
